I've rinsed the pon thoroughly several times through a strainer. The lecca I propose rinsing before use. There is a debate on how to clean pon before reusing. I have always rinsed and reused the pon and lecca with no issues. But please make your own judgement and choiceSome people recommend boiling pon and lecca before reuse..
