Brand latest we paid $550ish and bought the extra step which is a must have in my opinion, the drop is a long way and it catches a ton of litter if they test and hop
A few scratches on the bottom and top cover only from moving around so much but the entire thing works flawlessly as long as you keep it clean.
Biggest problems with automated boxes is not being cleaned/vacuumed around the gears. It will obtain stuck, stop, and then correct itself.
Will need a deep clean. We have since removed litter and hosed out the globe. But will need more cleaning.
